in a box for later for now I gotta cross some genes
stomping through the scene my heart beats to this hard concrete
make it so we don't sleep like a zombie

honorary ornery on your scary side
taking pictures of your calm face and what it barely hides
stare inside my blaring eyes when your invited in
one look at our nakedness flushed like some niacin

rub the magic bottle and watch me play the gin and juice
for all the trophy nut cases trying to get a boost
and me? I’m good at tying thick noose
it keeps me grounded in my bedroom like a recluse

so get used to all this sick news and admit truth
while the rest of the town throws sticks and stones at you
there’s always good reason the crowd wants to eat shrooms
you just happened to be in the way when they switched moods

now it's day two I’m day tripping last night I ate shrooms
eight grams down the hatch damn I only saved two
ego death I know how the shit can break you
apart then recreate your mind like a work of art

I let them decorate mine with a piece of chalk
like some sidewalk art of the days we used to talk
waxing philosophical about what the world is
and what it’s not until we drown in our absurdness

hands up to lift the burdens
high above the pricks on all these little urchins
sometimes the shit stings when you’re on point
like the skin around the vein of your favorite moms toy

So go enjoy killing or be another killjoy
all these fake wooden clowns trying to be a real boy
juggling juggalos by the dirty dozen
they weren’t hard to find they’re the ones kissing cousins

and I ain't even fucking around no more with dumb shit
no fussing no fixing I’m mixing chaos with destruction
so lay off the wondering and make a decision
and I’ll see you back at base when you’re finished with your mission
